for the record

After reading the news today I realise that people doesn’t make the right questions. Apparently Spain is a quite roman catholic country. Well I kind of agree with that. We still have quite a lot religious schools and well...the Opus Dei is a different matter. More about power-religious and politics altogether. But there’s three questions that you have to ask someone to know the truth.

Are you Roman catholic?

Are you a practising catholic?

Do you believe in God?

Sounds funny but most of us will answer yes to the first one and no to the other two, I can tell that most of the Spaniards wouldn’t answer yes to the second one. Spain still have a strong roman catholic tradition but I can tell that new generations are not religious fanatics. We don’t get married before moving together, we use condoms and we are gay, straight, bisexual like in the rest of Europe. And for the record I personally link strong roman Catholics with right-wing politics...
